PM, four ministers to be questioned at National Assembly session

(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and four ministers will answer deputies’ questions of voter concern at a Q&A session from next Thursday as part of the ongoing year-end session of the National Assembly in Hanoi.

Questions to Minister of Construction Nguyen Thanh Nghi will focus on urban development planning and management in Vietnam, the relocation of the headquarters of ministries and branches from the inner city of Hanoi, real estate market management, and social housing for low-income people.

Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung will address application of information technology to state management, digital government, building, connecting, sharing and using national databases, access to information and IT human resources development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra will clarify such topics as reorganizing the apparatus, streamlining the payroll, restructuring public non-business units, building a system of job positions, salary policy reform for cadres, civil servants and public employees, solutions to improve the quality of cadres and civil servants.

Government Inspector General Doan Hong Phong’s answers will be improving inspection activities, promptly preventing law violations, and solutions to strengthen the prevention and fight against corruption and negativity in inspection activities.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will clarify related issues and answer questions from the National Assembly deputies. Deputy Prime Ministers will also take part in the hearing and give explanations about related issues.
