PM holds online national meeting on COVID-19 response
(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Head of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, on Sunday held an online national meeting with all localities nationwide to evaluate the pandemic situation and response measures.

The Prime Minister said with the support of the Ministry of Information and Communications and telecommunications groups, instructions on COVID-19 response measures have been disseminated at all levels, particularly at the communal level. The Prime Minister said local administrations at all levels need to work closely and fulfill their assigned tasks. The meeting focused on pandemic response at the communal level as Vietnam’s pandemic response strategy has shifted to the motto that urges each commune to be a fortress and each citizen to be a soldier against the pandemic. The Prime Minister reiterated that each citizen should be the focus and the master of disease prevention and control and victory against the pandemic is the victory of the people.
Minister of Health Nguyen Thanh Long said Binh Phuoc and Phu Yen province haves been listed among localities that have contained the pandemic.
District 7 and Cu Chi district in HCM City have put the pandemic under control while the situation in some other southern provinces is improving.
