PM hosts banquet for GMS6 – CLV10 delegates
(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and his spouse hosted a banquet on Friday evening in Hanoi for delegates attending the sixth Greater Mekong Sub-region Summit (GMS-6) and the 10th Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam Development Triangle Summit (CLV-10).
 The banquet is held on March 30, 2018 in Hanoi.

In his welcoming address, Mr. Phuc underscored the importance of rivers in the history of human development. Major rivers in the region, including the Yangtze, Ganges, Mekong-Lancang, Red, Irrawaddy, and Chao Phraya, have created livelihoods for people living along them, connecting cultures and boosting trades among communities and regions. He asked member countries of the Great Mekong Sub-region to enhance efforts to ensure peace and boost cooperation development for the sub-region’s sustainable prosperity.
