PM May: No-deal Brexit better than a bad one
(VOVWORLD) - British Prime Minister Theresa May said Thursday that a no-deal Brexit will be better than an EU-Canada style free trade agreement.

She told reporters on a plane to New York for the UN General Assembly that she prefers a deal which ensures the UK’s union and constitutional integrity and that a Canada-style deal would break up the UK.
The EU proposed a Brexit model that would not preserve frictionless trade between the EU and the Great Britain and would require border checks, but the EU would still keep Northern Ireland inside the EU’s customs territory.
