(VOVWORLD) -UK Prime Minister Theresa May's government will not hold a second referendum on the United Kingdom's membership in the European Union, her spokesman said Thursday after billionaire George Soros donated money to stop Brexit.

The spokesman said the prime minister’s position on this matter is clear: the UK voted to leave the European Union and that's what they are going to do and there won't be a second referendum.
Billionaire investor George Soros has donated 555,000 USD to a campaign to persuade British lawmakers to vote against a final Brexit deal. The campaign to overturn Brexit is planning nationwide this month for a second referendum to keep Britain in the EU.
