(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on Friday reiterated determination to disburse all public investment capital of this year and urged localities to consider this as a key political task.

Chairing an online Government meeting on Friday, Prime Minister Phuc praised new measures to speed up public investment capital disbursement.
He gave examples such as local top leaders inspected disbursement of a single project; provincial and municipal Party Committees issued resolutions upholding the role of the political system, especially the head; and regular briefings on speeding up disbursement, capital transfer, and investor transfer.
The Prime Minister agreed to set up a working group in charge of handling problems facing important works and projects. He also asked for accelerating progress of key national projects such as Long Thanh International Airport, North-South Expressway Project in the East, and My Thuan-Can Tho Expressway Project.
