At Thursday’s working session with Hai Duong provincial leaders, PM Chinh suggested the province develop its economy based on hi-tech and support industries, hi-tech agriculture, and make full use of economics, industrial and service centers in neighboring localities including Hanoi, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, and Bac Ninh.

Hai Duong province also needs to pay more attention to cultural development on a par with politics and economic development and work closely with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and provinces involved to complete the dossier seeking recognition of Yen Tu as a world heritage site.

Last year Hai Duong’s gross regional domestic product (GRDP) grew 9.14% while its export reached nearly 11.5 billion  USD.
