The Vietnamese Foreign Ministry confirmed on Thursday that Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will attend the special ASEAN-US Summit.

The spokesperson for the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry Le Thi Thu Hang said US President Joe Biden invited Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and leaders of other ASEAN countries to attend the special ASEAN-US Summit to be held in Washington D.C.

ASEAN countries agreed with the US’s proposal and are discussing the agenda and schedule for the event.
