At a working session with municipal authorities in Ho Chi Minh City on Friday, Prime Minister Phuc also praised the city’s human resources development and its labor productivity which is 3 times higher than the average figure of other Vietnamese localities. He called for further efforts: “Ho Chi Minh City needs to continue to confirm its vanguard role. This is not only a requirement by the municipal Party Committee and people, but also a responsibility of the city before our Party, State, and people. Obstacles should be removed to thrive and be on a par with other cities in Asia. First of all, Ho Chi Minh city should be a frontrunner in Industry 4.0, becoming a smart and innovative city, building e-government, improving administrative reforms, and enhancing competitiveness.”
