Vietnam is committed to working for its youth, sports, and sustainable development, he added.
About 500 participants, including 50 heads of state and government, attended the event titled “International Summit on Sport and Sustainable Development”, held in Paris and streamed online in both French and English. It was championed by French President Emmanuel Macron and International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach.
The event was a chance for nations and relevant parties to demonstrate their determination to ensure that sports will contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, align with the goals of the 2024 Paris Olympics, and serve as a commitment to future generations.
