PM requests setting up special working groups to fight COVID-19
(VOVWORLD) - The Prime Minister has requested 7 ministers to establish special working groups to combat the COVID-19 pandemic in Ho Chi Minh City and other southern localities.

Each group will be led by a Deputy Minister, who will coordinate closely with the affected localities, make a daily report to the Minister and the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, and promptly recommend needed actions beyond his authority.
The 7 ministers are the Minister of National Defense; the Minister of Industry and Trade; the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development; the Minister of Transport; the Minister of Construction; the Minister of Information and Communications; and the Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.
On Sunday the Prime Minister asked localities nationwide to quickly compile medical personnel data for epidemic prevention and control and report it to the Prime Minister and the National Steering Committee before 5 p.m. Tuesday.
