(VOVWORLD) - Buying COVID-19 vaccines is urgent and must be done immediately, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh told Government officials at a meeting on Monday to discuss purchasing the Pfizer vaccine.

The PM urged the Health Ministry and other ministries and sectors to obtain vaccines as soon as possible.
This is an emergency situation, and vaccine procurement must be handled in line with legal regulations governing special or urgent circumstances and conducted immediately, he said.
