A representative from the Port Authority told PM Chinh that Vietnam holds potential and could build an international transshipment port. The authority is willing to cooperate with Vietnam in seaport development, he said.
The port of Rotterdam employs around 500,000 people and contributes 8% to the Netherlands' GDP.
This was PM Chinh’s last meeting in the Netherlands before his departure for Belgium for an official visit and a summit to commemorate 45 years of ASEAN-EU.
