PM suddenly checks anti-COVID-19 work via grassroots online system
(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Thursday evening suddenly checked the prevention and control of COVID-19 via the online system in five communes, wards and townships of Ho Chi Minh City, and nearby Long An and Tien Giang provinces, which have been hit hard by the pandemic.

After learning the situation at the grassroots level, the Prime Minister asked the localities to strictly abide by regulations on social distancing and isolation and ensure social security, not to let any people lack food or clothing. He urged for efforts to ensure that people have access to medical services early, remotely, and at grassroots level, specifically when people have needs, and call, they must be responded immediately.
Prime Minister Chinh stressed the need to organize rapid and effective testing according to the guidance of the Ministry of Health to quickly detect infected cases, strengthen mobile clinics for collection, classification, care and treatment of patients and organize scientific, safe and effective vaccination, timely care and treatment of infected cases in communes, wards and townships so that patients do not become seriously ill, lowering the death toll. He said it is necessary to advocate and encourage people’s involvement in pandemic prevention under the motto: People know – People understand - People believe - People follow - People do.
