PM to chair online national conference on socio-economic rescue packages
(VOVWORLD) -The Prime Minister is to chair an online national conference on Friday to discuss solutions to remove business difficulties, ensure social welfare and strengthen social security in the context of Covid-19 pandemic.

During the conference, the Ministry of Planning and Investment will deliver a report on challenges facing production and the implementation of the Government Directive 11 on public investment disbursement. The Ministry of Finance will deliver a report on fiscal support while the State Bank will report on monetary policy updates.
Following the National Assembly Standing Committee’s comment on the government proposed social welfare package, the Prime Minister called for finalization of the proposal for early implementation to support some 20 million people in difficulty.
