(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung worked with the General Department of Customs and the relevant agencies on administrative reforms in the customs sector on Wednesday. He praised the achievements of the Ministry of Finance and the General Department of Customs in simplifying administrative procedures in relation to customs and taxation. Prime Minister Dung said administrative reform was the government’s political task this year coupled with the aim of improving the business environment to increase national competitiveness: “It’s important to review the legal system in order to step up administrative reforms. Whatever relates to business and the people’s interests should be reviewed to create favorable and manageable policies.”

Prime Minister Dung asked the relevant ministries and sectors to strengthen coordination to promptly settle any arising problems and overlapping administrative procedures as well as accelerate the application of IT and the national single window mechanism.
