Addressing the National Innovative Entrepreneurship Day (Techfest Vietnam 2022) in the southern province of Binh Duong on Saturday evening, the Prime Minister emphasized that in order to quickly turn Vietnam into a country strong in startups, solutions are needed to link startups, innovation with knowledge, science and technology and unique characteristics of Vietnam.
He called on scientists, organizations, individuals, businesses, domestic and foreign investors to make more active contributions to Vietnam's startup and innovation cause. The Vietnamese startup and innovation community, especially the young generation, should continue to promote Vietnamese people's bravery and intelligence, dare to face difficulties, have passion, dare to innovate, be creative, dare to start a business to create regional and world-class "unicorns", PM Chinh said.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the Top 10 Award Ceremony of the National Innovation and Startup Talent Search and performed the Techfest 2022 imprint ceremony. He witnessed the signing of Vietnam-Singapore cooperation to develop the innovation startup ecosystem and support the industrial digital transformation.
Techfest Vietnam 2022 themed "Open Innovation Ecosystem - The Next Big Think" takes place in Binh Duong from December 2 to 4.
Activities include an exhibition of innovative start-up products and services with 250 booths; opening ceremony; high-level multilateral policy forum on startup ecosystem; the national innovation and startup talent search contest; investment connection activities; and the closing ceremony.
This year’s event attracts more than 8,000 guests who are representatives of startup communities from 63 provinces and cities across Vietnam and 20 countries.
