PM urges Ha Tinh’s greater efforts to join top 20 fastest growing provinces
(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on Wednesday praised the central province of Ha Tinh for its results in implementing the twin-task of fighting Covid-19 epidemic and developing the socio-economy.

Working with Ha Tinh’s key leaders in Hanoi on Wednesday, Prime Minister Phuc raised a number of questions about the province’s strategic development orientation from 2021 to 2030. He said: “I applaud Ha Tinh’s determination to move forward. But I want to put questions. First, how far has Ha Tinh gone in the Industry 4.0 and the digital economy? Second, how much has Ha Tinh understood and capitalized on 13 free trade agreements? Provincial leaders must find out local advantages, such as deep water port. We need a vision and to promote grassroots strength.”
The Prime Minister asked Ha Tinh to turn itself into an industrial province with uniform infrastructure, sustainable economic development, and strong defense and security until 2030. He said Ha Tinh needs to work harder to be included in Vietnam’s top 20 fastest growing provinces and top 10 highest e-government index provinces.
