Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc at a meeting with Hai Phong leaders

The Prime Minister said that the government prioritized protecting people’s health but in the long term it aims to boost socio-economic growth. He urged Hai Phong city in particular and other localities to exert more efforts to fulfill the dual task. He praised the city’s relatively high economic growth of 14.9% in the first quarter of this year while the national average was only 3.82%. He asked ministries, sectors, and Hai Phong city to suggest prompt mechanisms to boost the city’s growth and fulfill its assigned tasks.
