(VOVworld)  - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on Sunday asked the Ministry of Health to cooperate with the World Health Organization and other international organizations to update on the spread of Ebola and forecast risks of infection in Vietnam.

The Ministry was asked to promptly report on developments of the epidemic, infection mechanisms and preventive measures. Surveillance will be conducted at border checkpoints and in the community to timely detect and isolate possible cases of Ebola infection in order to prevent the virus from spreading and minimize the mortality rate. Vietnam has reported no case of Ebola so far.
