PM urges medical preparedness in the face of Covid-19
(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on Friday asked the Ministry of Health to speed up training, field hospital readiness, and production of medical equipment, particularly ventilators at reasonable cost, to better cope with the Covid-19 epidemic.

At a government meeting, the PM urged the National Steering Committee on Covid-19 Prevention and Control to build all possible scenarios on the disease spread.
He asked the Ministry of Health to cooperate with the Vietnam Fatherland Front’s Central Committee to deliver or transfer ventilators donated by individuals and organizations at home and abroad. The Ministry of Health has to work with the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Construction, and relevant agencies to build field hospitals for Covid-19 emergency, the PM said, adding that preparation progress must be reported before next Friday.
