(VOVworld) – On Saturday, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc held a working session with leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on cooperation between the government and the confederation in 2015 and plans for 2016. He called for measures to improve workers’ skills and productivity, resolve salary-related problems, and better care for workers’ material and spiritual lives.

Mr. Phuc said: “Administrative agencies should promote democracy and transparency and renovate trade union activities. Trade unions should protect workers’ legitimate interests in a practical way.”
