The Prime Minister asked the two countries to strengthen exchanges and meetings at all levels to create a momentum for expanding cooperation in all fields.

The Prime Minister expressed his hope that Switzerland would support the stance and efforts of ASEAN and Vietnam to maintain peace, stability, freedom, security, and safety of navigation and aviation in the East Sea and settle disputes through peaceful means in line with international law and the 1982 UN Convention on the Law of the Sea.

Ambassador Thomas Gass said Switzerland always respects the friendship and cooperation with Vietnam promising to make effort to boost bilateral ties in a practical manner.

He said Switzerland wants to expand cooperation with Vietnam in manufacturing technology, high tech, sustainable agriculture, and climate change response.
