Concluding the meeting, Prime Minister Chinh emphasized the importance of the task and quoted Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong as saying that "The whole country is for Ho Chi Minh city, Ho Chi Minh city is for the whole country”.

The Prime Minister agreed with municipal authority on the immediate establishment of a Steering Committee for implementing the National Assembly's Resolution on piloting customized policies and mechanisms for Ho Chi Minh city's development.

The committee will be headed by the Prime Minister, and the Secretary of the municipal Party Committee will serve as the Deputy Head. The Ministry of Planning and Investment will be in charge of undertaking the task.
