PM works with Supreme People’s Court, Supreme People’s Procuracy
(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc chaired a meeting with leaders of the government, ministries and the Supreme People’s Court on Wednesday to strengthen cooperation between the government, the Supreme People’s Court, and the Supreme People’s Procuracy.

Speaking in the event, the Prime Minister hailed important renovation in the judiciary to improve transparency, the rule of law, and prevent crimes. He praised the court efforts in promoting civil mediation and dialogues in administrative cases. He called for more cooperation between the judiciary and government to boost civil mediation, mobile trials and raise public awareness of legal regulations.

The same day, working with the Supreme People’s Procuracy, Prime Minister Phuc said the government and the procuracy have implemented cooperative mechanism in preventing crimes and miscarriage of justice and make on time prosecution. He praised the increasing role of the procuracy in law enforcement amid Vietnam’s extensive international integration. He said the government will do its utmost to create favorable conditions for the Supreme People’s Procuracy to fulfill its tasks.
