PM writes about WEF on ASEAN 2018
(VOVWORLD) - ASEAN countries are doing their best to meet challenges and seize development opportunities to realize the 2025 ASEAN Community Vision toward a strong ASEAN Community, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc wrote in an article on the 2018 World Economic Forum on ASEAN (WEF ASEAN 2018), which opened in Hanoi on Tuesday.

Mr. Phuc said the world is changing rapidly, driven by shifts in globalization and the tremendous leaps in science and technology of the 4th industrial revolution.
He said it is Vietnam's responsibility as the host of WEF on ASEAN 2018 to work with WEF and ASEAN on important issues, in the interest of, and for the development of, each country.
PM Phuc said WEF on ASEAN 2018 demonstrated not only Vietnam's responsible role and contribution to ASEAN, but also Vietnam's strategic vision in foreign policy and development, which aims to build an action-oriented, enabling government, place people and businesses at the center of development, and encourage entrepreneurship, creativity, and dynamism.
