At a conference hosted by the Ministry of Public Security on Monday, Mr. Phuc said that police officers should adhere to the principles of respecting the people, staying closer to the people, understanding the people, learning from the people, and being responsible for the people.
“The police must intensify the war on corruption and propose more effective anti-corruption measures. It’s necessary to speed up the investigation of those cases which are representative of particular public concerns and pave the way for their prosecution,” said Mr. Phuc.
The conference reviewed the anti-crime campaign for the first quarter of this year, the implementation of a government decree on the operation of the Ministry of Public Security, and law enforcement.
