(VOVworld) – A survey released Tuesday by CNN showed that 40% of Americans approve of the way Trump has handled the transition, the lowest popularity for an incoming president in polling.

CNN said Trumps’ approval rating is 44 points below that of President Barack Obama at the time he took office in 2009. Another poll from ABC/Washington Post shows 52% of Americans view Trump unfavorably, and only 44 percent think Trump is qualified to be President. Asked whether they think Trump can make good decisions for the US’s benefit, 38% of those surveyed agree, while 61% partly agree or disagree.
