Post-pandemic economic opportunities and lessons learned from Vietnam

(VOVWORLD) - The newspaper Egypt Today this week highlighted Vietnam’s strategy for exploiting post-pandemic economic opportunities.

According to the paper, Egypt and other Arab countries can learn from Vietnam’s short- and long-term economic recovery experience.
Vietnam is focused on agricultural production as food security will be the world’s top priority when the pandemic is over.
The Vietnamese Government is also helping airlines, travel companies, restaurants, hotels, and resorts lure back tourists. Recognizing that restructuring supply chains is needed to attract foreign investment, the Government has also launched taxation, land lease fee, intellectual property rights, and personnel development initiatives, the paper reported.
