(VOVworld) – Preparations are underway across Vietnam for the coming elections of deputies to the National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2016-2021 period.

On Monday, the election committee of Can Tho City convened a meeting to review plans for the event created by sub-committees in charge of communications, public order, social security, and handling of complaints and denunciations.

Quang Ninh Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Doc asked localities in the province to create personnel plans which reflect age, gender, and quality regulations. Quang Ninh will organize a second consultative meeting on March 18^th and post lists of candidates at polling stations on April 12^th.

The Fatherland Fronts of Dak Lac and Binh Phuoc province held conferences to guide procedures for introducing candidates for the 14^th National Assembly and People’s Councils.
