Preparations for the 6th session of the 13th National Assembly
(VOVworld)- The National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Monday discussed the preparations for the 6th session of the 13th National Assembly. Head of the National Assembly’s Office Nguyen Hanh Phuc said the 6th session will last for 41 days from October 21st to November 30th. National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung stressed the importance of the session, at which the deputies will decide major national issues including the approval of the draft revisions to the 1992 Constitution, the revised Land Law and the assessment of the 5-year socio-economic development plan until 2015. To this end, National Assembly’s Committees and Council as well as relevant agencies are required to work closely to ensure sufficient discussion of the set agenda. The National Assembly’s Standing Committee agreed with the Ministry of Information and Communications on organizing an exhibition of maps and documents regarding Vietnam’s Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagoes during the session.
Also on Monday, the National Assembly’s Standing Committee discussed reports by the State Audit on establishing another state audit agency, allocation of investment capital for auditing branches and allowances for auditors.
