(VOVWORLD) - Palestine supports all Arab and international efforts to uproot terrorism, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said during a meeting with Arab League (AL) Secretary General Ahmed Aboul-Gheit in Cairo on Saturday.
Abbas updated Aboul-Gheit with the recent efforts made by the Palestinian leadership to end the Israeli occupation and establish the Palestinian rights.

He said the two-state solution is the only one for the Palestinian cause while briefed the AL chief of the recent US peacemaking efforts in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and the latest inter-Palestinian reconciliation efforts.
Abbas is scheduled for talks with Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi on various Palestinian issues including the Israeli settlement expansion policy.
