The trip takes place as the Vietnam-India traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation are thriving, particularly since their bilateral strategic partnership established in 2007 was upgraded to a comprehensive strategic partnership in 2016. It affirms Vietnam’s consistent external policy of independence, self-reliance, multilateralization, and diversification of international ties.
After India, President Quang will pay a 3-day state visit to Bangladesh.
