(VOVWORLD) -US President Joe Biden arrived in Israel on Wednesday to begin his first visit to the Middle East since becoming the president of the US.

Biden’s entourage includes National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan and Anne Neuberger, Deputy National Security Advisor for Cyber and Emerging Technology.
President Biden will have a series of meetings with Israel's Prime Minister Yair Lapid, President Isaac Herzog, and former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
On Thursday, Biden will attend a meeting of the 'I2U2' group (Israel, India, UAE, and the US). He will also meet with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas before heading to his next stop, Saudi Arabia.
