(VOVworld)- President Truong Tan Sang has urged the Central Literature and Art Council of Critics to make a better job of implementing the Politburo resolution No. 23 on building and developing literature and art during the renovation period.

He stated this at a seminar entitled “Improving the quality of literary criticism” held Tuesday in Hanoi, and called on solutions to speed up the development of the country’s literature and art. Mr. Sang said: "Resolution No. 23 aims to create a breakthrough in the development of literature and arts during the country’s international integration. I have faith that the council can deal with the sector’s past weaknesses. To do that, more seminars like this are needed, where delegates can frankly discuss pressing issues in the country’s literary and arts fields."
