(VOVworld) - A delegation of Party, state and government officials paid their respects to President Ho Chi Minh and fallen soldiers on Tuesday on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day.

The delegation included Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, President Truong Tan Sang, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan, among others. The leaders showed their gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh and his contribution to the Vietnamese revolution. They also laid wreaths at the Martyrs’ Monument the same day.
