President Ho Chi Minh’s 134th birthday marked in Russia

(VOVWORLD) - A wreath laying ceremony was held at President Ho Chi Minh’s Monument to commemorate his 134th birthday on May 19th, during the Vietnamese Week in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Dang Minh Khoi and the participants offered flowers to express their boundless gratitude for President Ho Chi Minh’s contributions and sacrifices for the Vietnamese people.
The ceremony also featured a special performance of songs and dances praising President Ho Chi Minh and Vietnam.
Ambassador Khoi, former Vice President Truong My Hoa, and a delegation from Ho Chi Minh City visited and awarded certificates of merit to teachers and students of High School 488, which is located near President Ho Chi Minh’s monument.
