President Ho Chi Minh’s birth anniversary marked worldwide
(VOVWORLD) - A ceremony was held in Ho Chi Minh City on Saturday to honor the most outstanding young people in a campaign of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example.

The ceremony, which marked President Ho Chi Minh’s 128th birth anniversary (May 19), was part of a two-day youth congress that is bringing together 336 role models in the campaign initiated by the Party Politburo.
"It’s necessary to further spread the campaign in society while promoting a moral and healthy lifestyle among young people. Another important task is to improve young people’s knowledge and awareness of the negative impact of social evils as well as the hostile forces’ distortions and sabotage, especially on cyber space," said Head of the Party Central Committee’s Communication and Education Commission Vo Van Thuong at the event.
President HCM’s birth anniversary was also commemorated in Truong Sa island district and the UK.
In Angola, a new boulevard named after President Ho Chi Minh was inaugurated in the capital city of Luanda on Saturday.
