President Phuc praised functional forces for making great efforts and performing well the task of protecting national sovereignty and ensuring political security, social order and safety.

He stressed the need to continue to establish good relations with China's Guangxi province, contributing to building a peaceful and friendly borderline.

He requested functional forces at the central level and Lang Son province to closely coordinate and effectively combat smuggling and trade fraud, and control diseases.

Afterwards, in Lang Son city, the President had a working session with key leaders of Lang Son province on the fulfillment of socio-economic tasks.
