President of India begins State visit to Vietnam
(VOVWORLD) - President of India Ram Nath Kovind and his spouse began a State-level visit to Vietnam on Sunday.

The visit, made at the invitation of Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong, is of great importance to the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and India.
According to Indian experts, the visit will promote bilateral ties in various fields. Dr. Faisal Ahmed, Head of the Department of International Business of FORE School of Management, said the visit will deepen bilateral cooperative ties, and Vietnam is an important factor in India’s Act East policy.
Rajaram Panda, a researcher at Indian House of Representatives, said the two countries should further cooperation in various fields, especially in economic, trade and culture.
