President Putin hails productive Vietnam talks, wishes further cooperation
(VOVWORLD) -Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday sent a letter of thanks to General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong and President To Lam after his visit to Vietnam last Wednesday and Thursday, according to the Russian News Agency TASS.

The letter was posted on the Kremlin’s website, saying that the talks between President Putin and Vietnamese leaders were truly constructive and productive.
The Russian leader said he was confident that the implementation of the bilateral agreements will help to further strengthen the comprehensive strategic partnership and hoped that both countries will continue to actively pursue joint work on key issues on the bilateral and international agenda.
The Russian president thanked the Vietnamese leaders for a warm welcome and unforgettable hospitality, adding that the trip gave him the kindest impressions.
