(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang received the Speaker of Pakistan’s National Assembly Sardar Ayat and President of India’s Lower House Sumitra Mahajan, who are attending IPU 132 in Hanoi.

President Sang said he hoped Vietnam and Pakistan would continue to exchange high-level visits and expected that the visit to Vietnam by Pakistan’s Prime Minister at the end of this year would foster bilateral cooperation in all areas. Along with India, he called for joint efforts to bring two-way trade to 7 billion USD, stressing the role of the two countries’ legislatures.

President Sang also received the President of Pakistan’s Lower House Murtaza Javed Abbasi.
