President says building a law-governed state to best facilitate national development
(VOVWORLD) - President Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Head of the Central Steering Committee for Judicial Reform, chaired a meeting in Hanoi on Wednesday to discuss a project for building and completing a law-governed socialist state to 2030 with an orientation toward 2045.

President Nguyen Xuan Phuc stressed the importance of the project as it’s a major task identified by the 13th National Party Congress’ Resolution, adding that its contents should employ scientific methods, has a vision to 2045, to ensure the project catches up with and suits new development trends based on systematic studies of domestic and international situations.
“The project should reflect President Ho Chi Minh's thought on a rule-of-law state in Vietnam and the viewpoint that the State is of the people, by the people, for the people, and under the supervision of the people, respect the people's right to mastery, and protect human rights and citizens' rights. It also demonstrate the Party’s leadership in the building of a rule of law socialist state, a comprehensive task and solution in the building of a socialist state of law in Vietnam and its impact on national development at its best under the Party’s leadership,” said President Phuc.
Later this month, the Steering Committee will convene its first meeting to comment on the project for building and completing a law-governed socialist state to 2030 with an orientation toward 2045.
