President To Lam reaffirms Vietnam’s commitment to strengthening special solidarity with Laos
(VOVWORLD) - President To Lam met with Chairman of the Lao National Assembly Saysomphone Phomvihane at the Lao National Assembly on Thursday during his ongoing State visit to Laos.

During the meeting, the leaders reaffirmed their commitment to consolidating and strengthening the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos, considering it an invaluable asset and a vital factor for each country's revolutionary cause.
President To Lam commended Laos for successfully organizing the first three-country National Assembly Summit (Vietnam-Laos-Cambodia) in Vientiane in December 2023.
He affirmed that Vietnam is ready to support Laos in its upcoming important foreign affairs activities, including the 2024 ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) Conference and successfully assuming the role of AIPA Chairman in 2024.
