President Tran Dai Quang begins State visit to Brunei and visits the Vietnamese Embassy
(VOVworld)- President Tran Dai Quang and his spouse left Hanoi on Friday for a State visit to Brunei at the invitation of Brunei’s King Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah.

Vietnam and Brunei established diplomatic relations in 1992 and will celebrate their 25
thanniversary next year. President Quang’s visit aims to realize the 12
th National Party Congress’ guidance on strengthening Vietnam’s friendship and multifaceted cooperation with Brunei. After Brunei, President Tran Dai Quang will visit Singapore from August 28 - 30 at the invitation of Singapore's President Tony Tan Keng Yam.
After the news, we will comment on the visits which will create momentum for further relations between Vietnam, Brunei and Singapore.
Upon arriving in the capital city Bandar Seri Begawan, the President visited the Vietnamese embassy and informed the staff on national social economic development issues. He expected his visit to consolidate bilateral ties and facilitate overseas Vietnamese work and life in Brunei, considering them an inseparable part of the homeland. He asked the local Vietnamese community to unite and preserve national cultural identities while promoting bilateral friendship with Brunei.
