(VOVworld)- President Tran Dai Quang received visiting Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sar Kheng on Sunday in Ho Chi Minh city.

The president expressed his delight about cooperative results between Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security and Cambodia’s Ministry of Interior, pledging to forge closer ties between the two agencies in accordance with the agreement of the two countries’ leaders.

For his part, Mr. Sar Kheng conveyed congratulations from the King, the royal family and government of Cambodia on Mr. Quang’s election as Vietnam’s President. He expressed his hope that the president and other leaders of Vietnam will continue to create favorable conditions for the close relationship between the two ministries, contributing to the flourishing cooperative ties between the two countries.
