(VOVworld) – President Tran Dai Quang wrapped up his state visit to Laos on Tuesday. Earlier, he paid a courtesy visit to former Party General Secretary and President Khamtay Siphandon, who congratulated both countries on their recent Party congresses and their commitment to promote bilateral friendship and comprehensive cooperation.

President Quang said Vietnam prioritizes the consolidation of the special friendship and cooperation between the two countries for their mutual development. President Quang also visited the Laos-Vietnam combat alliance memorial in Champasak province and a Laos-Vietnam latex processing company.
