(VOVworld)- The 70^th National Public Security Congress opened in Hanoi on Tuesday to review 30 years of reforming public security affairs and the current law and order situation. In his address, President Truong Tan Sang praised the People’s Public Security force for their contributions to commanding the Party and State in promulgating laws and policies on ensuring law and order. He urged the Public Security Force to mobilize the combined strength of the political system, people and army and constantly improve their professionalism to defend national independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity as well as protect the Party, State and people, socialism and national renovation, and industrialization and modernization.
