(VOVworld)- The Party Committee of the Presidential Office convened its 7^th Congress in Hanoi on Saturday. In his address, President Truong Tan Sang highlighted the important role of the Party organization and urged the participants to contribute to the Party documents. He asked the Office to cooperate with relevant agencies to successfully fulfill its new political tasks as stipulated in the 2013 Constitution. President Sang stressed Vietnam persistently pursues the goal of sustainably defending national independence, territorial sovereignty over the sea and islands and maintaining a peaceful environment for national development. He asked each Party member to be imbued with Party guidelines, strictly obey the Constitution and Law and contribute to Party building.
