President Truong Tan Sang praises teenagers’ good deeds
(VOVworld) - Children should continue to learn from the traditions of their predecessors and take part in the national campaign called "Thousand Good Deeds". President Truong Tan Sang spoke on Wednesday at a ceremony to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the campaign and praise 72 exemplary teenagers in Bac Ninh province, where the campaign was first launched on March 24th, 1963. President Sang said: "Following President Ho Chi Minh’s teachings, authorities, parents, and teachers need to focus more on protecting, caring for, and educating children. They should create favorable conditions for children to play, study, and get involved in social activities as part of the "Thousand Good Deeds" campaign".

The campaign has been expanded and diversified across the country over the past 50 years, making it a highlight of children’s movements. Many outstanding teenagers who have made significant contributions or had remarkable academic achievements have been honored.
